Yes,
there is such a place, and they have a voter registration scandal
involving a Chad.
Actually the arrest of Chad
Staton, 22, here in Toledo, Ohio, for a fifth-degree felony charge of false
registration after sheriff’s deputies said he filled out the
registration forms by himself — using either fictitious names or
addresses. [Toledo
Blade] not only involves Defiance and Lucas Counties, but also Cuyahoga.
A
Defiance County man has been arrested for allegedly filing more than
100 false voter registration forms in exchange for crack
cocaine from a Toledo woman
working on behalf of the NAACP’s voter registration drive — and
gave them to Georgianne Pitts, 41.
Toledo police searched Ms. Pitts’
home and discovered drug paraphernalia along with more voter
registration forms. Police said that Ms. Pitts admitted to paying Mr.
Staton in crack cocaine, in lieu of cash.
Ms. Pitts, working on behalf of the
NAACP National Voter Fund, submitted the forms to the voter fund, which
in turn submitted them to the Cuyahoga County [Greater Cleveland] Board
of Elections.
You at least have to take your hat of to this enterprising patriot,
um, dedicated democrat,
. . . er . . . overenthusiastic
partisan, well uh, how about Fucking
Crackhead! Why bother registering people that won't come
out of their stupor to vote anyway, when you can just make up names and
fake signatures instead of earning your drugs the old fashioned way --
burglary and armed robbery.
If this story does not receive the national attention it deserves,
(along with the consequent embarrassment for the Ohio Democrats, the
NAACP, and it's president and native Clevelander George Forbes)
then I will be terribly disappointed with the GOP attack machinery.
Unless of course you count the purient interest of America's favorite Hillbilly Heroine addict at RushLimbaugh.com (subscription). Give Rush a slow news day and he could run with this for two hours.
Great, just great. Please tell me this this guy doesn't look enough like your average NAACP volunteer to be anything else but a GOP plant.
